With the introduction of ecoIMAGES™, Pictura Graphics has taken important steps toward lessening our environmental footprint in the graphics industry; a green initiative aimed at providing ecologically sensitive media, substrates, and processes designed to promote environmentally responsible graphics to the markets we serve.

At first glance, Pictura Graphics offers its clients media that is recyclable, re-pulpable, and biodegradable, fabrics manufactured from recycled yarns, textiles made from natural cotton fibers and printing with UV inks that are VOC free. Delve deeper and you will see that our partners are committed to reducing the environmental impact at the manufacturing level as well:

• plants that recycle water from the manufacturing process and reclaim into drinkable water
• enlist no carcinogenic colorings or allergens
• ozone reactors to further enhance water filtration
• more efficient weaving looms vs. traditional airjet looms utilizing 30% less energy consumption
• ultra filtration for coatings
• fully closed looped exhaust system to reduce energy consumption
• processes free of halogens (chlorine, bromine, iodine, and heavy extractable metals)

We are committed to promoting environmentally friendly management practices and products as our part to lessen the long-term environmental footprint of the products and services we provide.
